I have often found that decay can be very beautiful, from the natural weathering on a stone to the amazing shapes and colours
created by rusting metal, and pealing paint.  I see stories in such things, like the magical lands a child sees in the glowing embers
of a fire.  As a consequence of this odd vision I take photographs of such textures, I combine and re-create them, sometimes
making them tileable, sometimes using them whole, in a design or on a 3D model.  So here are a few of my textures, my models
and now and then a tutorial to explain a technique, or the background to a special location.
3D Creations using Bryce, Wings3D, Cinema4D and photographic textures, complex many layered images - with freebie models
and textures available, animation and still images.

Go to the textures pages for high resolution textures.

Here there are metals.

(One of the freebies in this section is a beautiful verdigris
that I spotted on a massive metal tub, obviously once a
bright copper, now holding plants in the centre of a
knot garden.)

A Rusts section. For the beauty and grime of decay and metalic destruction.
A Grounds Walls and Drains page. With textures for your 3d world's ground surfaces.
